Do you wonder what it would be like to be one of the last two fighters standing in the WEPT? In the following interview the WEPT runner-up (FTW)LIDO(FTW) talks about what it was like to fight that final battle against U_Kanasai and what he thinks of PISHU's gears!
PWNICORN: Hey Walid! Nice to meet you.
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): Nice to meet you too.
PWNICORN: You got second place in the second round of WEPT and a lot of people are curious about you. What is your character (FTW)LIDO(FTW) like?
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): Ninja- Warrior- Fire. Full +12 and I have gold cup 1500 Attack and 1000 Defense.
PWNICORN: Awesome! Can you share a little about your real life before we get to the second WEPT event?
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): I'm 16 years old. I open CO 3 hours in day and 15 hours I study, I am a student in the School October 6. I'm playing Volleyball in Zamalek club.
PWNICORN: Wow cool! Nice to see an active CO player. Hahaha. So everyone wants to know, what was that final battle like? Was it intense fighting U_Kanasai for first place?
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): I wanted to keep away from him but I made a mistake when I came back to the same place in the Arena and it was an opportunity to eliminate me... I own tricks to beat him. I wish play him again in match makers. This will be a pleasure.
PWNICORN: Ahh! I see it would be cool if you had a rematch wouldn't it? Were you surprised to get so far? Or did you expect to win?
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): I did expect to win it, but I made a mistake in my movements with him. I hope we can rematch! xD
PWNICORN: Well I still think second place is amazing! I know there are other players who would love to be at that level! How did you do to prepare for WEPT? How far did you get in the first round?
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): Because I was only Detoxification 85% and I didn't have Detoxification Boot 15% but I got to Top 8 in the first round.
PWNICORN: Very impressive to get top 8 in both rounds of WEPT. Did you have any problems with transferring items or refineries?
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): Sure. I wasn't have any transferring items or refineries xD. I have All items permanent except boot. But I borrowed boot 13% from Soft*Death in final match in first round of WEPT.
PWNICORN: That's nice of him to let you borrow it. I've noticed that a lot of friends helped each other in this event. I think that's a good thing. So Walid, what other events similar to this would you like to see in the future?
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): World Class PK would be fun and World Team PK.
PWNICORN:Hahaha, All of those would be great!
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): NB: Ninja pure has poison star. If a team has 1 ninja pure and 3 fires +12, the Ninja gives us poison star and the fires kill us. In World Team PK, please remove this skill. Lol.
PWNICORN: You should suggest that to them. One last question: What do you think of PISHU's controversial gears?
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): If a ninja pure has shield, bag, bracelet, and backsword that's not ninja that's all characters! xD
PWNICORN: You have to admit it was clever. Lol
(FTW)LIDO(FTW):Yes, he is clever to make this.
PWNICORN: Hahaha. It takes a real man to admit that! Good work. Is there anything else you would like to add?
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): Yes. The ninja skill poison star is a problem. I have LifeFruit to protect me from it but they banned LifeFruit. xD
PWNICORN: You want TQ to take out poison star or leave in LifeFruit?
(FTW)LIDO(FTW): I want to replay it but with LifeFruit to protect us from poison star. LifeFruit is rare. Any team with a pure ninja with +12 can beat any team because of these skills.
